About

Claire B. Bushby is a multidisciplinary artist and curator based in Boorloo (Perth). Their practice explores interdependence, ecology, and community through collaborative and participatory projects. Working across textiles, sculpture, and audiovisual documentation, they investigate the entanglements between humans and non-humans, often centering disability and queerness as ways of knowing. Their work engages deeply with suburban ecologies, gardens, and bird-human relationships, exploring how these spaces reveal our evolving relationship with climate and environmental change. They believe in art as a site of care, connection, and resistance, fostering spaces for dialogue and collective imagination.
